I know every mother says it seems like yesterday and they are correct.
I remember all so well the day you were born. The day started like all the others. Kerry and Tina were in kindergarten and already home from their 1/2 day of school. They were invited to a birthday party, so as soon as Chris got home from school Dad, Chris, Ryan and I were going to go out for shrimp while the girls attended the B-party.
Well that never happened. I reached down to pick up a toy off the floor and my water broke. After calling the doctor we headed for the hospital where I stayed and all others went to the birthday party. Actually they all stayed overnight. You were born by emergency c-section about 6 pm for a placenta previa. You were real little and had trouble breathing so you were taken by ambulance to a large medical facility where you received CPAP. Had you been born 6 years earlier, there would have been very little they could have done for you.
We have been blessed with your presence David and I cannot imagine life without you.
