Karissa & Carra. Karissa assures me that Carra is really her friend... and her cousin. Those are tiny toads in their hands-- found in Grandpa's yard. Brice found a real frog... but the toads were great fun, too!

Carra got a hamster today and the first name she chose for it was a running list of all her friends - and one of them was Karissa!
Of course, the hamster has had about a dozen names since then. I'll let you know what she finally settles on once the excitement wears off. I'm sure we'll blog about it soon!
Oh, and I should also note that another of the names was Elaine.
(The name was Lily Elaine Karissa Powers - I thought she should change the order and call it K.E.L.P. She doesn't get acrostics and didn't like my idea though.)
