Happy 3rd Birthday!
We hope that this year that you don't:
Paint the van again . . . with house paint . . or any paint, actually.
Run around the neighborhood naked and get the police called.
Prove to mommy and daddy that you can pee by yourself in the bathroom, but not in the toilet.
Get up 3-4 times a night to get a drink, go to the bathroom, or ask mommy where daddy is.
Scream like a girl . . . Actually, higher than a girl . . . Don't do that!
Stand on one of daddy's guitars and try to play it, thus breaking it . . . again
We hope that you do:
Not paint the van again.
Learn to ride your bike/big wheel.
Keep your energetic spirit, (but could you please, just once, let us sleep through the night?)
Keep having fun at everything you do.
Play nice with your sister, and leave my Barbies alone. (From, Elaine)

You forgot, "And please don't wander away from home and start walking the streets of Milwaukee - again. There may not be a friendly church member there next time to bring you home . . ."
You have to love a kid who just bumps his way through life without a care in the world. The kid is just too cute! (Except for at 3 a.m, I'm sure).
Oh, and "My Owen" loves Awon too.

Or what about "climb the toilet, reach into the cabinet, pull out the matches, light a half-dozen or so, then throw them on the floor while lit because you burnt your finger."
And that's just a few of the things we remember. He's a wild one, and yet every time he's with Owen, it seems he's the sane one.
Who knew? Whenever I'm around him he's quiet and shy! Everyone has a dark side. (either that or they bring out YOUR dark side.:0) )
